Training Before your departure for the mission, we want to prepare yourself by participating in spiritual training and team building training. JET  Week JET week brings together the JET promotion of the year. The themes of self-knowledge, interculturality, ecology, inequalities in the world are addressed and give volunteers the tools necessary to tackle their mission. It is also an opportunity to discuss with the JETs returning from the countries. Destinations Philippines About… The Chemin Neuf Community is based in Manilla where the community is in charge of a large student residence with 200 bedrooms called San Lorenzo. Destinations Mauritius About… The Chemin Neuf Community is based in Riviere Noire where we run a parish in quite a mixed area at the heart of which are the social housing estates, the poor area of the Island, and at Grand Baie, where we run a parish in the north of the Island. At Riviere Noire Educational catch-up mission for underprivileged children from the Riviere Noire school ; Workshops for excluded boys ; Educational support for children in difficulty at Saint Benedict School – a school which offers free education for children ;  Activities with the “Will Fly” Association: educational assistance and provision of meals for around 100 children from the social housing and camps in Riviere Noire ; Help and support for nursery children at the “New Kid” School ; Educational support …

Destinations Madagascar About… The Chemin Neuf Community is based in Antananarivo, capital of Madagascar, and at Antsirabé, south of Antananarivo. At Antananarivo Follow-up of diabetic youngsters from 1 to 26 years of age at the AMADIA hospital (physios, nurses, psychologists, social workers, teachers, speech therapists…) French lessons at the School of the Immaculate, primary and middle school in the area ; Educational support for pupils in the area ; French lessons at ISPA, university for first and second year undergraduates ;  Visits to families in the area ; Pastoral mission at the student residence run by the Chemin Neuf Community.
